How we verify prices
Every activity, hotel deal, and pass price on this site comes from a live Klook, GetYourGuide, or Viator listing, pulled into a master price sheet per country. Any product with a zero commission rate is dropped entirely, we're not padding the count with listings we can't stand behind. Non-USD prices convert to USD using a dated reference rate (currently the European Central Bank's rate as of 2026-07-02), not a live currency API, so numbers stay stable between checks.
Prices are re-verified on a monthly cycle. When a price actually moves, the activity card shows a "was $X" comparison instead of quietly updating the number, so returning readers can see what changed.

BudgetDecoded is written by John Arce, a growth marketer and affiliate publisher based in the Philippines.
How we make money (full disclosure)
We are a Klook affiliate (partner ID 126070), GetYourGuide affiliate (partner ID BVJLJH2), and Viator affiliate (partner ID P00308262). When you book an activity, ticket, or pass through a link on this site, we earn a commission. The price you pay does not change.
Rules we hold ourselves to:
