Region notes

Weeks worth avoiding

  1. Holy Week (late March/April, movable): Domestic travel spikes nationwide; inter-island ferries and flights book out.
  2. Christmas–New Year (Dec 20–Jan 2): Highest flight and hotel prices of the year, especially Manila-to-island routes.
  3. Peak typhoon window (Aug–Sep): Highest chance of cancelled ferries and flight delays, especially Luzon and Visayas.
